Roma boss reveals possibility of Ronaldo returning to Mourinho.
Roma director Thiago Pinto has hinted at the possibility of signing Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo to join Jo. Se Mourinho is once again at the Stadio Olimpico after reports suggest the player is seeking a move away from Old Trafford, UFABET reports.
The 37-year-old striker gave a decisive interview with the agency and Erik ten Hag last week. He has been linked with several European clubs, including the Giallorossi team under Mourinho.
However, Pinto has made it clear that Roma have no interest in bringing Ronaldo to the team at all.
“One thing that really annoys me in Italy is that they are constantly talking about the transfer market. The truth is that the story of Cristiano Ronaldo is impossible. These rumors have no origin at all.”
“But in Italy they talk every day about three players who are related to your club. I understand it’s normal because Mourinho and I are both Portuguese, including Cristiano, but like I said. There was never any story related to it,” said the Roma executive.
Mourinho and Ronaldo previously worked together at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, helping them to La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish titles. Super Cup, 1 time each
